So I was surfing around on the net and found two sites that made my heart skip a beat! First is this awesome online sketchbook application
if you have a pen and tablet you will have TONS of fun playing around with it! If you register on the site, you can also leave your sketches in the forum.
I practically fell off my chair when I discovered this online portfolio! There are rare moments in life, when I feel like a real loser, and this was one of those moments. The drawings are just so beautifully crafted and thought out, his use of colour tickled me with delight, his ability to induce an adventure in my mind through image also earned him my absolute respect. Hats off to you David Habben! These are a few pages from his sketchbook. Until he can get back to me, I can only guess that his sketchbook medium is ink & gouache…Anyway please check out his website and blog.

Thank you so much! Truly appreciated. I use ballpoint pen and watercolor pencils (most of the time) in my sketchbook
Thanks for mentioning your process, David. I’ll have to try the watercolor pencils. Big fan of ballpoint pen too. Do you have any video tuts showing how you incorporate the wc pencils into your work?
Stellar illos as always.
Best!
Dave
